Q.Can I handwrite my Will?

A.A "holographic Will" is commonly referred to as a handwritten Will. Handwritten Wills are valid in about 30 states as long as the entire Will is completely handwritten, dated, signed, and properly witnessed (the laws of each state vary as to number of witnesses). Some states that do not recognize handwritten Wills will make an exception if the person executing the Will was of sound mind in an emergency situation (e.g., trapped) and near death.
