If you have less than $500,000, have never been married, and have no children, you may consider drafting your revocable living trust yourself either through an online service or computer program, but only if you are willing to have your completed documents reviewed by a wills, trusts, and estate planning attorney in your state.

The cost of a living revocable trust depends on where you live and the complexity of your estate. Generally, though, a revocable living trust with a pour-over will, and durable powers of attorney for financial matters and health care will cost between $750 (in more rural areas) to $3,500 (in New York or California).
