Q.If I have signed a durable power of attorney, can I change my mind?

A.Yes. As long as you are of sound mind, you can modify or revoke the durable power of attorney. You can either change the terms by signing a new durable power of attorney, or simply sign and have notarized a document revoking the existing power of attorney.
