A.You need to inform and discuss your wishes regarding medical treatment not only with your named agent, but also your family members (even if they don't want to hear it), your physician, and close friends. Make sure the important people in your life know how you feel about end of life issues, life prolonging procedures, medications, etc... The more they know, the easier it will be for them to fulfill your wishes.
