Q.What is a bad credit score?

A.Credit scores usually range from 300 to 850. The average score in U.S. is approximately 680 to 720. Anything below a 680 is considered “sub-prime” and needs improvement, and anything below 620 is considered high risk. However, you need to check you credit score at each of the three major credit bureaus, as each of them record your score slightly differently. In general, the higher you credit score the better it is.
