Q.What is the difference between a condominium and a co-op?
A.With a condominium, the owner will hold title to one unit in an apartment-like building or town house complex. With a cooperative, by contrast, the cooperative itself (a corporation) owns the property in an apartment-like building and the residents of each unit merely receive proprietary leases on their unit.
