Q.What is the implied warranty of fitness for a particular purpose?

A.The Implied Warranty of Fitness for a Particular Purpose arises when you tell a salesperson that you want a good for a particular purpose and the salesperson states that a particular model will suit your needs. An implied warranty of fitness for a particular purpose is then created when you purchase that item based on the salesperson's skill to select a suitable good for your needs. The warranty therefore guarantees that the good will be fit for your particular purpose, such that if the good cannot then perform the intended function, you are entitled to a refund or replacement. This warranty exists even when the seller is not the manufacturer or one of its authorized dealers or agents.
