Q.When can an advertiser use the words Made in the USA in an ad?

A.As with other terms such as "new" and "guaranteed", the FTC has adopted specific guidelines for use of the words "Made in the USA," and words of similar effect. In short, a product must be "all or virtually all made in the United States" for it to be advertised or labeled as "Made in the U.S.A."
